OUR COMMITMENT IN SITU
In situ conservation is carried out through the protection of individual habitats, the protection of individuals and the reintroduction of species into various natural areas.
IN FEW WORDS.
Study on the ECOLOGY AND CONSERVATION OF LIONS AND OTHER LARGE CARNIVORES IN NAMIBIA
The activities of humans and domestic animals intersect with those of wildlife, which often leads to conflicts. Large carnivores are particularly predisposed to interacting with humans due to their large spatial requirements and their considerable food requirements. Large carnivores can cause considerable economic damage, mainly through livestock depredation. The aim is to understand the ecology and behavior of lions and other carnivores in the Fish River canyon system, Namibia, to map wild populations.
The project involves the census of lions and other large carnivores to monitor their behavior, in order to collect the greatest amount of information that can on the one hand give us more and more knowledge about their behavior, and on the other provide information on their presence and abundance in the study area.

The bald ibis, the Sardinian newt and the Adriatic sturgeon, but also the griffon vulture and the pond turtle. All species that Europe would have seen become extinct if Italian zoological parks and aquariums hadn't intervened with the restocking in nature of specimens born in a controlled environment.
